Currently, there is a need for volunteers to help fill sandbags in the Faulkner County area to help combat the Arkansas River flood waters as they start to rise in Central Arkansas.
If you would like to donate your time and efforts to help those in need, you can volunteer to fill sandbags at:
Beaverfork Fire Department - 4 Beaverfork Rd., Conway
Conway Transportation Dept - 100 E. Robins Rd., Conway
Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own shovels and gloves, and any extras, if they can.
The Faulkner County OEM has stated that if you need sandbags, they can be picked up at the County Road Department at 65 Acklin Gap Rd, and also at Beaverfork Fire Department.
