The Arkansas River flood levels are beginning to decrease in the Dardanelle and Morrilton areas while Pine Bluff has yet to see the river crest to its highest level.
According to the National Weather Service, the water level has dropped over a foot after Sunday's crest of 45.39ft in Dardanelle, while Morrilton area floodwaters have stayed near their crest level since Sunday morning.
The readings at Toad Suck Lock & Dam as well as Little Rock are showing their projected crest today and should begin to recede by Wednesday morning.
Meanwhile, Pine Bluff predictions show another 8" of rise before crest levels on Thursday or Friday.
