The Central Arkansas Heart Walk, presented by Qualchoice Health Insurance, has always been about more than a walk. It's about harnessing the power of the community for the shared purpose of saving lives. Join the American Heart Association for it's premier event on April 29th at North Shore Riverwalk Park in North Little Rock!

The American Heart Association, the leading voluntary health organization focused on heart and brain health for all, is inviting Little Rock area residents and surrounding communities back to its premier event to boost physical and mental health through healthy habits while supporting a lifesaving mission.

On April 29, Central Arkansas Heart Walk participants and teams are invited to North Shore Riverwalk Park to celebrate heart and stroke survivors, raise lifesaving funds and encourage physical activity. There is no registration fee for the family-friendly event. Check-in is at 8:30 a.m. and the walk begins at 9 a.m. Walkers can take routes of 1, 2 or 4 miles. Other offerings include a petting zoo, kid zone, pet zone, survivor booth and educational booths.

The 2023 walk is led by three men familiar with the event through their volunteer leadership in recent years: Scot Davis, CEO of Arkansas Urology; William Clark II, founder and CEO of Clark Contractors, LLC; and Jeff Marcussen, senior preconstruction specialist for Nabholz Corp.
