Hot Springs International Women's Film Festival 2020

Historic Central Theater

Hot Springs International Women’s Film Festival (HSWFF) is presented by the Hot Springs Arts & Film Institute (HSAFI). The festival celebrates women filmmakers and artists by providing a venue, networking forum and educational opportunities in Hot Springs National Park, AR. USA.

HSWFF believes it is important to hear and see the educated, entertaining and diverse stories of women from around the world. We provide a platform for sharing their visions on the big screen. Located in downtown Hot Springs National Park, AR. is the Historic Central Theater. The theater has the charm of the 1930's, with a snack bar, gift shop, large movie screen and the latest sound & high definition projection.

HSWFF accepts all projects that have at least one woman in one of the key production positions: (Producer, Director, Writer, Cinematographer, Editor, Lead Actress...). Projects that are produced and/or directed by men are accepted as long as there is female protagonist and/or the story is based around women. The films are judged throughout the year and then selected from hundreds of submissions by our panel of film industry professionals. All the films have been produced in the last year and most have not had a public screening yet. You can see dozens of incredible films, meet filmmakers and support Women in Film for less than the price of your average movie ticket. .
