We all have a story about the day that changed think about so many things... It was the morning of September 11, 2001. Most people woke up like any other day. Shower, breakfast, get the kids on the bus, fight traffic on the way to work...
And then, at 7:46am, news started coming in that a plane hit the north tower of the World Trade Center in New York. At 8:03am, a second plane hit the south tower of the World Trade Center.
On this day, we all have a story about how we heard the news of those terrible events in New York, Washington, and Pennsylvania. And on this day, we remember those that lost their lives and pay tribute to those who bravely ran forward to help. And know that we will #NeverForget

This Marine joined the Corps to honor his father, who died in the 9/11 attacks. He's now stationed aboard the USS New York — a ship made with 24 tons of steel from the World Trade Center.— U.S. Marines (@USMC) September 11, 2018
