Ariana Grande Unveils '7 Rings' Video Teaser

Despite the massive success of "thank u, next," Ariana Grande's moving along to the follow-up single, "7 Rings," and we just received the first hazy teaser from the video on Monday afternoon (January 14).

Ahead of the track's release on Friday, the 25-year-old dropped a 14-second teaser and it's a montage of clips of Grande and her gal pals in some pretty pink set-ups. If you're an Arianator, you already know that the preview also features an instrumental in the background, which just so happens to be the same music used in the beginning moments of her star-packed "thank u, next" clip

In case you weren't aware, "7 Rings" was inspired by "a pretty rough day in NYC" when Grande went to Tiffany's with her friends, had too much champagne and decided to buy them all engagement rings. "It was very insane and funny," she recalled in a tweet. "On the way back to the stu Njomza was like 'b*tch, this gotta be a song lol'. so we wrote it that afternoon." Among the females that received rings included Victoria Monet, Alexa Luria, Courtney Chipolone, Tayla Parx, Njomza, and Kim "Kaydence" Krysiuk. Grande's mother and her grandmother also received rings after the song was completed.

Earlier today, word spread that the singer had been forced to shuffle 10 of the dates on "The Sweetener World Tour" due to her headlining slot on this year's Coachella roster. The North American dates, which were originally scheduled to wrap up on June 26, will now extend to July 13 in order to accommodate for rescheduled shows in Chicago, Columbus, Indianapolis, St. Louis, Milwaukee, St. Paul, Denver, and Salt Lake City. Meanwhile, concerts planned in Omaha and Raleigh have been canceled entirely.
